Can I spray water directly onto flower petals?

Written by Pudu Ria Florist Southern

While gently misting the green foliage of certain plants is highly beneficial, you should avoid spraying water droplets directly onto the delicate petals of cut flowers like roses, eustomas, or carnations. Trapped moisture between dense petals creates an ideal microclimate for mold growth and brown fungal spotting.
